MY STORY
I am a STRESSED out, busy bee, hard working, hot mess, people loving mom of four. I have also been addicted to Scentsy since it was very first introduced in 2004. Unfortunately, I didn't join until a little over SIX years ago. I only joined to get my addiction at a discount. I had NO EARTHLY idea how that little $99 kit would change me completely.
As a stay at home mom, I struggled SO HARD with being "just a mom". I know i know. Moms do it all. We are so important. But I wasn't contributing financially to the home. Even if I was saving us money by not having kids in day care. And my independent self struggled.
I didn't even join with intention to go all in. Not even a little bit. I joined and had a "join party" to get me some host rewards. After that party, all my family and friends kept asking about my next order going in. So I thought "if they love it, maybe everyone else will too". And they did.
My little business has TAKEN OFF since that moment I decided to give it a shot. I've met my best friends. The women that push me and HOLD me up when I don't think I can do it anymore. They prop me up there with words and affirmations and support until I can hold my own. We all have our ups and downs. This family helps me more than I could ever imagine.
I am PROUD of my team. PROUD that they are out reaching for their dreams with one car bar at a time. I am proud to show them what I'm doing so that they can earn trips and ALL the things Scentsy offers.
So maybe you want that too? Maybe you just need to get out of the house for a few hours. Being a mom/dad at home is HARD work. And I get that guilt for leaving. But that guilt is lessened by the fact that you are working and making money for those couple of hours sharing wax.
